A number of service suspensions will be operating on the Tyne and Wear Metro in the coming weeks. These include:

No trains between St James – North Shields
Sunday 19 June, all day in either direction, to allow for maintenance work. A frequent bus replacement service 900 will be running.

Sunday 12 June, until about midday in either direction, to allow for Network Rail engineering work. A frequent bus replacement service 901 will be running.

Central Station 8pm closures
To allow for major station refurbishment. Central Station will close at 8pm each evening Sunday to Thursday (with some exceptions). During the closure trains will not stop at Central Station, please use Monument.
